Our client is an Alternative Investment Services company with offices in the UK and Luxembourg. They have over $65 billion assets under management including the No 1 Asset manager of Europe and leading Private Equity firms. For their Depositary department, they are looking for a Head of Depositary to design and deliver the depositary services in Luxembourg and UK.

What will your missions
and responsibilities be?
- Oversee the provision of depositary services to a growing portfolio of real estate and private equity fund clients in line with the requirements of AIFMD, relevant legislation and relevant regulatory publications
- Take responsibility for the line management of staff within the depositary function & identify and capitalise on potential new depositary business development opportunities
- Oversee the management of existing and new depositary client relationships
- Monitor and report on legal and regulatory developments affecting the company’s depositary business in Luxembourg and across the group
- Provide internal training and guidance on depositary obligations and responsibilities
- Take responsibility for communication with third parties regarding depositary
Your profile and key areas of expertise?
- Demonstrated experience in previous roles with a high level of responsibility.
- In-depth industry knowledge (Luxembourg)
- A background in a legal role is a strong asset.
- An excellent understanding of AIFMD depositary roles and responsibilities
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar level function
- Fluent in English & French
